"When I was young and was spending time with my grandma, she would always tell me stories of her life.
One of them always caught my attention more than the others.
When she was young she was always travelling all around the world with grandfather. But when after World War II hit Europe in September 1939, my grandfather had to go defend our country, France.
In May 1940, he died under nazi's bombing raids in Normandy.
The only thing grandma kept of my grandfather was the necklace he gave it to her before leaving.
70 years after he left her, she was still wearing. Every time she looked at it, she reminded herself the time she spent with grand-father. Timeless piece of memories.
After she die, I went to Paris in 2018, and was shocked by how much we buy and wear jewelry without any story or inspiration.
And much more by the fact that we never look at them.
This is why I came up with the idea of crafting and immortalize every memories of my grandmother within Louna's Brand, her own brand."
